Zaza, in case you missed it
From the Beeb
Napoli are considering making an offer for 25-year-old striker Simone Zaza, whose transfer from Juventus to West Ham will be made permanent if he plays 10 matches for the Hammers. Zaza has made nine appearances in all competitions for West Ham, seven in the Premier League. (Il Mattino - in Italian)

Zaza Napoli? The attacker's entourage: "Something is happening ..."

Napoli on the hunt for a striker waiting for Milik recoveries. The Zaza agent: "Something there, something is moving."

Arkadiusz Milik continues the rehabilitation process, but before he can get back to tread the soccer fields, will still take a few months (at least).

Napoli knows he can not trust the attack keys only to the "three dachshunds" (Callejon, Mertens and Insigne) until end of season. And that's why the President De Laurentiis and sporting director Guintoli would be working under the radar for a shot in January.

By Radio Kiss Kiss - the official radio of the Neapolitan club - there's the latest on the blues market. The entourage of Simone Zaza, pressed on the subject, he preferred to give an additional aura of mystery to the affair, declaring: "There is something, something is moving. And for this better not issue further statements. "

The former Juventus striker has played nine matches so far in the Premier League and FA Cup with the shirt of West Ham, failing - however - never find the way of goals. Wonderful place to stay, at least until this for the moment, for Zaza Channel.

Re: Zaza, in case you missed it
I thought it was maximum of two clubs. But it looks like it's three?

http://resources.fifa.com/mm/document/affederation/administration/02/70/95/52/regulationsonthestatusandtransferofplayersjune2016_e_neutral.pdf

"Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. Equally, the provisions relating to the registration periods (article 6) as well as to the minimum length of a contract (article 18 paragraph 2) must be respected."

Even if it is possible, it would be a long-winded way of going about things?

Stranded,

That idea occured to me when those rumours of us bidding for Icardi started flying (again).

However. Can Zaza be OWNED by 3 different clubs in one season under FIFA rules? Players can play for 3 (inc loan), but 3 different clubs actually owning registration?

Can't see it happening anyway.

West Ham could be set to sign loan flop Simone Zaza permanently – before immediately flogging him to Napoli.

The Italian has made a miserable start to life at West Ham, failing to score in his first nine appearances for the club.

Reports in Italy have suggested that Napoli are ready to rescue him from his Hammers nightmare by attempting to land him in January.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested that the frosty relationship between Napoli and his parent club Juventus could prevent that deal ever materialising.

So it has now been reported that West Ham will take up the option of buying Zaza from Juve, despite his poor form, and then move him straight on to Napoli.

good news sulky bollocks and piss head are back....lets hoop they last

I'd sling Sakho straight in at Spurs and I'd also drop Lanzini as he's been too sloppy in procession

To have registered one shot on target in 400 minutes of football is appalling

Fivetide -

I think that Fernandes looks a player. Woud like to see him played in his more natural habitat, the middle of the park.

I like the left back - good cover. Fletcher also worth working with. The rest are awful. Thought Feghouli would be good from pre-season, but nope.

Sir Alf 3:02 Mon Nov 7

He'll ship him back as he doesn't want to pay £10m for a dud, nothing to do with Carroll and Sakho being fit.

Re: Zaza, in case you missed it
I think Sullivan has called time on Zaza. I could be wrong but I suspect he will be shipped back now since Carroll and Sakho are back and hopefully one of them stays off the treatment table for a while.

We had too many loans in the Summer but at least they were loans as we can see now Zaza was not cut out for the role we wanted filled at West Ham.

We've had some dud strikers in the past...but he's one of the worst...yet came with a good pedigree...

Basically too slow...one footed...poor control...and never in the right place for a striker...

As he was on the bench for Saturday it must be based on "starts" and not as a sub I would have thought.
